Did the story of Noah really happen?

Recently, there has been a lot of thought about the Story of Noah. Due to the movie Noah coming out. Maybe you've seen it. What do you think? If you are a Bible-Believer like me, you probably think it is true. If you are not you probably think it is a strange or exciting  or maybe even a children's story about a flood. Or maybe you think it wasn't a world wide flood. You probably have seen something similar to the picture on the left by a story of Noah. But this is not actually how the boat looked. Bible Scholars state it looked more like the picture to the right. The story of Noah's Ark is real. If you want to read it the story of Noah is in Genesis 6 and 7

But you still might be wondering why? Why would a loving God send a world-wide flood killing most of the people in the word.  It was because of there wickedness. Many people forgot about God and worshiped idols. God promised Noah there would never be a world-wide flood again. A sign of this promise isthe rainbow. So as you look at rainbows remember the story of Noah.
