During the 1970's in Cambodia. There was terrible loss of life. Many innocent Cambodian men, women, and children were sinisterly slaughtered. It is a said part of World history. That is not so broadly known as the holocaust. About 1.7 million innocent people were slain during this tyrannical regime wretched reign. Now these evil men are being held accountable for their wicked acts of genocide and war crimes. The saddest part about it is that the parts of the international community just watched as millions of people died. This reminds of "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing," Edmund Burke
In our world, we must do something about the problems we see. "A little something is always better than a lot of nothing," I think so. For example, during the holocaust saving one person was huge. If everyone had saved just one innocent Jew. Millions would be saved. I think we should not just look back and condemn what happened in the past. But we should try to change what is happening now.
