Memorial Day
Memorial day is a time to thank our veterans for their service. Veterans have sacrificed their lives so we could live free. We should remember and honor our veterans. We should also pray for those who are currently serving over seas. I just want to thank our veterans for all they do for their valor and bravery. Thanks Veterans!

Net Nuetrality What is net neutrality?
Net Neutrality, what is net neutrality? Net Neutrality is what we have as the internet today. But why is it good for the U.S.? Why should we even care? Without net neutrality you would have to pay extra to go on sites like Netflix and YouTube. On the internet sites you pay for you get faster speeds on your internet. On all other sites the speed would be slower, so it would be hard to find my blog and things like it. If we did not have net neutrality, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Amazon. That is why we should write, email, or call our representatives to stop any law that would cause net neutrality not to exist. This all may seem a bit confusing at first, but you can watch this video on this link may help.

Happy Mother's Day!
I just want to thank my mom. Like many moms she has always been there for me. She has encouraged my dreams. She been behind me. Without her taking the time to believe in me I would've never started this blog. I probably wouldn't even be into politics or like school. She always corrected me when I am wrong. My mother has taught me the ways of the Lord. She has even taking the time to homeschool me. She could be doing a lot of things than training me in the Lord.
My mother is
My teacher
My mentor
My cheerleader
I would encourage you to thank your mom. Give her a card even if its homemade or an ecard. Mom's are wonderful. They always believe in us as Teens for our Future. I want to give a big round of applause to all moms for believing in us teens.

Around 276 Nigerian schoolgirls abducted
Around 276 school girls were kidnapped. This wretched crime was committed by the Boko Haram. Sadly, no one seems to be able to get the under control. The Boko Haram threatens to sell the girls into slavery or as child brides. This is terrible, but this is just the beginning of their long list of crimes. They have reported to have slain around 300 people on their sinister rampages. They have been doing this in the name of allah. We need to pray that the girls can come back to their families un-harmed. We also must pray that the eyes of the men apart of the militant group will be opened. We also must pray that the Nigerian government will apprehend these militants.

Cinco de Mayo
What is Cinco de Mayo? Some people believe it is the day of independence for Mexice, but that is in Septmeber. So what is it all about then? It is a holiday that celebrates the Battle of Puebla. Against all odd the people of Puebla won the battle against a much larger French Army. This battle occured in 1862 on the fifth of May. This is what it being celebrated a great victory in Mexican history. It is a miracle that they were victorious even though the Mexicans of Peubla were out-gunned and out-manned. So Cinco de Mayo isn't a holiday that celebrates Mexican Independence. It celebrates courage, valor, and hope shown by the people of Mexico
