Rockets are still being fired. Hamas won't stop!

Even after the day-long cease-fire was proposed. Israel accuses Hamas of breaking it. They say that Hamas was still firing rockets. Israel is currently on the defensive. America needs to do something to back. Israel needs help. We must try to do more than give out sanctions. We must take action against Hamas. This may mean to support Israel military wise. What do you think? Sadly, from what is going on now I am thinking that World War may be in our near future. Israel is trying to defend herself. Hamas is going against everything Israel is trying to do. When Israel has warned civilians to leave because of rocket fire, Hamas has ordered them to stay.

The Day of Rage! Will the fighting ever cease in the Middle East?

Today, has been named the day of rage. due to attacks on UN shelter.  People have been fighting all around the West Bank. Four Palestinians have been killed. People are irate about the shelling of the UN.  To me it looks like war might break out. Diplomats are trying to get Hamas to agree to a "permanent" cease-fire. For days rockets have been exchanged between Israel and Hamas. Nearly 800 people have been killed almost all of them civilians. Hopefully, they resolve on a permanent compromise. On Saturday there will be a 12-hour humanitarian cease fire. This is very good news for civilians.  What do you think about this? We should pray for the Middle East and that their problems be resolved. That God can keep Israel safe.

Poetry is a beautiful

Poetry. Poetry is a linguistic art . It is mastered by practice. I think of poetry as a painting that you make with words. I enjoy poetry. I love to hear the flourishes and pros. But why is it important.  It is important because poetry can really make you think and it has more than surface meaning. it also a beautiful thing. Beauty is not necessary for life but it makes life all the more enjoyable. Here is a poem for you to enjoy. Do you like it? What do you think it means? Magazine Editor and Wonder Teen

The guest Author on my blog, Katherine Tiekling,  is also the chief editor of her own homeschool magazine. This is her first ever time making a magazine.I think this amazing. It is a really cool magazine with interviews and articles about famous homeschoolers. Ms. Katherine decided to do this for her computer 4-h project. She is heavily involved 4-H. She also enjoys reading and Speech and Debate.  She is an amazing writer and an editor. I think it is so cool. There are so many smart and intelligent teens that are amazing leading the way. Flood of illegal immigrant children

Recently, many central American children have been crossing the border. What should America do? Some say send them back. But lone leaving lone children to fend for themselves is just plain mean. What we are doing is caring for the children until we can get them safely back to their parents. President Obama asked for a billion dollars to care for the children and secure our borders. How will the root of the problem be solved?  I think the problem lies in the less then ideal living conditions in South American and  Central America. Many South and Central Americans struggle to get necessities that we take for granted. For example running water, a good education, and. I think until the root problems are solved we will continue to see a flood of illegal immigrants. What do you think?

Fourth of July

Today we celebrate the our nation with cooking out and fire works. We have come far from the country we started as. We have become better. We have become worse.  But we must remember the principals this country was founded on. ALL MEN (including women) ARE CREATED EQUAL. On July 2 it was the anniversary of the passing of the civil rights act. That granted African-American the right to vote. We must remember that this country's beginning was not impeccable. But we must also remember those who have better society. Our veterans. Civil rights activists. Presidents, Congressman, Abolitionists, and Suffragists. They have made our country what is today. And I truly say I am Proud to be an American. I proud to be somewhere with so  many blessed people. Thank-you to everyone who has made the USA great!

GO FOR IT! YOu have the power to change the world

What does this phrase mean? GO FOR IT! It means to chase your dreams. As teens we almost feel as if we have to be "full adults" to make a difference. GO FOR IT! I am teen and I am going to go for it. Teens can make a difference a big one too. I believe that speeches and volunteering can make waves. I let nothing hold me back. I know teens who have written novels and magazines. Teens can run and start businesses. Teens can do amazing things. I started this blog and I have written a novella. These aren't accomplishments to brag about. It is to encourage you. I never thought I could write a novella or start a blog. NEVER SAY NEVER! GO FOR IT! Change the world for God. It can be through writing a book, magazine, or blog. It can be through starting a business or charity. Even writing songs and posting then on YouTube can make a difference. Even if I just encourage one person to GO FOR IT! It is worth it. Stop sitting around letting life pass you by. Live by the seat of your pants. Everything is not going to turn out exactly how you want it. But enjoy every moment you can by making a difference and helping others.  Change the world for God. Helping others gives a lot more return than being selfish.GO FOR IT!
